I’d friends who decided to move there. She could work remotely I think and it was a city (?!) they loved and had lots of friends in. Sold up after a few years. Wasn’t all they’d hope it would be.

In Callan today, there are some beautiful old buildings in the town, but some do need a bit of TLC. A lot of houses going for under 200k here, decent location, 20 mins to Kilkenny, 30 to Clonmel, 30 to Thurles.
