Even in Wendy’s heyday I would suggest she was a triumph of the art of painting with cosmetics rather than a natural beauty.

Cork v Limerick has to be above Clare v Tipp on the list. I know Ennis is a cauldron and that Clare v Tipp was a bitter rivalry in the mid to late 90’s and at U21 in 2008 but none of their meetings in the Round Robin have come remotely close to matching Cork v Limerick 2024 or even 2026.
Clare v Tipp at Ennis is the essence of Munster. Tipp v Clare at Thurles is a bit shit. Clare v Tipp at Pairc Ui Chaoimh (when it’s at Pairc Ui Chaoimh it’s always Clare v Tipp) is good. Tipp v Clare at Limerick (when it’s at Limerick it’s always Tipp v Clare) is a bit shit.
Cork v Limerick at Cork is well above Limerick v Cork at Limerick. But it’s not as good as Clare v Tipp at Ennis.
Basically my point is that Limerick should never be a neutral venue. Limerick only has a cachet for one pairing and one pairing alone and that is Limerick v Clare.
