Iâm very suspicious of Bruceâs draft avoidance for 'Nam. Medical grounds? He looks hale and hearty to me. Had he flat feet or what?
For a career stretching over 30 yrs thats a poor return MBBâŚ
In your opinionâŚya WUM!
He failed his medical SS**, pure and simple, the evidence is there for all to see on the live version of the River on the Live from 75-85 triple LP

I donât think there was a pit in the RDS last year but Iâm open to correction. These days I prefer being fairly far back where there is room to sway around and get pissed without being cramped.
OOOOOOOOH SOMEDAY GIRL I DONâT KNOW WHEN
WEâRE GONNA GET TO THAT PLACE WHERE WE WANNS GO AND WEâLL WALK IN THE SUN
Thats open to debate sledge , i always heard bruce claimed to be a steamer .These were the days before âdont ask ,dont tellâ
Time for some Boss lyrics?
"The screen door slams
Marys dress sways
Like a vision she dances across the porch
As the radio plays
Roy orbison singing for the lonely
Hey thatâs me and I want you only
Donât turn me home again
I just canât face myself alone again
Donât run back inside
Darling you know just what Im here for
So youâre scared and youâre thinking
That maybe we aint that young anymore
Show a little faith, thereâs magic in the night
You aint a beauty, but hey youâre alright
Oh and thatâs alright with me
You can hide `neath your covers
And study your pain
Make crosses from your lovers
Throw roses in the rain
Waste your summer praying in vain
For a savior to rise from these streets
Well now Im no hero
Thatâs understood
All the redemption I can offer, girl
Is beneath this dirty hood
With a chance to make it good somehow
Hey what else can we do now?
Except roll down the window
And let the wind blow
Back your hair
Well the nights busting open
These two lanes will take us anywhere
We got one last chance to make it real
To trade in these wings on some wheels
Climb in back
Heavens waiting on down the tracks
Oh-oh come take my hand
Riding out tonight to case the promised land
Oh-oh thunder road, oh thunder road oh thunder road
Lying out there like a killer in the sun
Hey I know itâs late we can make it if we run
Oh thunder road, sit tight take hold
Thunder road
Well I got this guitar
And I learned how to make it talk
And my cars out back
If youâre ready to take that long walk
From your front porch to my front seat
The doors open but the ride it aint free
And I know youâre lonely
For words that I aint spoken
But tonight well be free
All the promisesll be broken
There were ghosts in the eyes
Of all the boys you sent away
They haunt this dusty beach road
In the skeleton frames of burned out chevrolets
They scream your name at night in the street
Your graduation gown lies in rags at their feet
And in the lonely cool before dawn
You hear their engines roaring on
But when you get to the porch theyâre gone
On the wind, so mary climb in
Its a town full of losers
And Im pulling out of here to win."

Yes there was a pit last year anyway. Youâd want to be there fairly early to get the wristband. It was brilliant in there on the Sunday night
Was at the show last year-thought he was very good alright. Wouldnât be a major fan of him or anything though.
Mac, however, would have his babies. Heâs missing the historic double header in Wexford Park to see this fella for the umpteenth time. Power to him I suppose.

Iâll lock the gates, fire up the flame thrower and send your hedonistic souls to satan.
Just sold my ticket there.
A feast of GAA now looks to be the order of the day for me on Saturday
