Where: SeeBeyondBorders, Siem Reap, Cambodia
Other Observations: Tomás arrived in Cambodia on Wednesday. He is taking a rest day here before beginning the cycle to Phnom Penh tomorrow and then on to Vietnam.

The sister bumped into World Champion Remco Evenepoel on a cycling holiday she is on down in Spain yesterday. She said he was a very nice chap. That would have been a spot.

He’s at the counter ordering a take away Brooks’ special wrap. He does want salad on the side. He’s got a nice, friendly manner asking staff how they’re keeping. He’s just telling them he’ll take a seat outside in the fresh air while he’s waiting for his order. He’s wearing dark slacks, a blue open neck shirt & a black leather jacket.

Mattress Mick re entered the premises with a female companion and told staff that he’d have his order at the table outside rather than in a take-away container. His companion ordered something to eat too and they both ordered coffees. They were enjoying their lunch when I left at c.13.50.

I was there over Easter doing work for a few days and it was only afterwards I thought of him and said I should have met for a tea (or a pint) but great to hear all is well with him. It’s probably a good college in that sense in that it’s quite welcoming

I’m currently standing on the southbound platform at Killester Dart Station a mere 5 metres from RTÉ political correspondent, Micheál Lehane. Micheál is leaning against the wall, scrolling his phone & has his air pods in. He’s now delving into a dark brown leather gentleman’s bag. He’s wearing navy overcoat, navy slacks & brown shoes. He’s now taken a phone call but I’m listening to Smalltown Boy by Bronski Beat myself so I’m not eavesdropping. Oh, here comes the 9.47am dart.

I was just walking on Pearse St past the Trinity College Biomedical Sciences building when who did I spot emerging from The Pig & Heifer up ahead only the bold Micheál Lehane? He was wearing a dark suit & tie & white shirt, & was carrying a takeaway coffee & what seemed to be roll or sub wrapped in the shop branded paper. I continued walking towards Grand Canal Dock & he made his way back in the direction of the city centre. His facial expression was sheepish.

When? a wee while ago. Where? In Centra. Who? Bill Murray
Bill was buying chocolate, an indo, a six pack of still water and a bucket/spade combo.
He lightly stroked the bucket and spade as he put them on the counter, an brief almost mesmerised look on his face as if startled by a poignant forgotten memory.
The elderly shopkeeper charged him 23 euro and 18 cents for his purchases. Bill seemed taken aback that no bag was offered. He gathered his new belongings, muttered “thank you madam, there you go now”, and headed for the exit.
