The Celebrity Spotting Thread Part Twee (or help Flatty identify the celeb he just spotted) (Part 1)

David Herlihy has appeared in plenty of movies and tv as well as theatre, I saw him play The Covey in The Plough and The Stars in the Gaiety over 25 years ago. Spot.

Mick Clifford is a spot by virtue of his prominence on tv and radio of late. Spot.

Sorry, we cannot award Mick Clifford as a spot.

It is intriguing, however, that you are such a fan of his :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Agreed, I was just rubber stamping their Non Spot status :+1:

Jog on fuckwit

You seem very upset that your idol, Mick Clifford, was refused a “spot status”, how bizzare :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

You slipped in the ballet thing pretty smoothly there. Would you say you’re the first Mount Sion man ever to attend a ballet? I can’t imagine Skin Ryan or the McGraths being too taken with it.

Not at all. We are a very cultured bunch.

Once taoiseach and anointed one Brian Cowen at limerick races today. His demeanour and dress sense are unchanged from 2009

spot, well done.

What a fucking spot. Unreal

Was he sinking pints?

That’s a spot kid, and a very very good one at that.

He walked through the parade ring in his old manner hidden under a large coat.

I had a drink with a lad called Gerry Hutch this morning. He’s known as the monk he was saying. It was in an Irish bar in Fuengerloa. I had a bottle of Heineken. He was looking a bit anxious. He was telling me a few great yarns. Some fella called Paddy Doyle got whacked back in 2008. If it wasn’t his nephew that was driving the car. The same fella got whacked himself there recently. I drank up and made my excuses to leave

Need a call on Nicky English…

I saw the Actress Aisling O sullivan(best known for the Clinic) walking in the grounds of Mary I yesterday at around this time. I saluted her assuming I knew her from somewhere and it only struck me a bit later. She was with a nice looking younger girl and was dressed in a non descript manner. I didn’t realise that she was in the production of the beauty queen of Leenane that’s running there at the moment. I may go along before the run ends.

I’ll give it

Never heard of her.

Spotted Wexford’s favourite son, Mick Wallace, and his companion Clare Daly going to the lighthouse cinema yesterday evening. Mick was in usual apparel of jeans and a polo shirt whereas Clare was wearing a figure hugging dress and a pair of FMBs. The couple seemed in jovial mood, probably in the knowledge they have the commissioners on the ropes

They were going to see the new Ken Loach film according to Mick on Twitter.
