In my defence I am a fully grown man,
I knew there was a red haired Irish guy in the wwe, I had heard his mother interviewed on radio I think,
I am shocked that he has been a world champion, that used to be a huge deal when I watched wrestling in the late 80s,
I’d prefer to leave it now before I find myself up for IOTM.
Quite possibly the worst 5 hours of my life were spent in the company of Blathnaid as we drove from Dublin to galway during rush hour(s). I’ve occasionally had nightmares about it. Horrendous
Nothing comical about it. She has a voice like a drill, never shuts up and has one of the biggest egos I’ve ever met. Five hours of me me me me me (from her). She was sitting in the middle of the back of a tiny jeep thing with her head through the front seat headrests. I was in the passenger seat looking out the window losing the will to live, knowing I had another couple of days of it.
@Smark, while on public transport today I spotted a multiple All-Ireland medal winner who scored one of the greatest goals ever scored in an All-Ireland Final. He looked like he was travelling from work, so I’ll say no more about that.
I have a question, though. Would a spot (on the same public transport) of a member of a band that has played major festivals like Glastonbury and Oxegen, has toured extensively worldwide, and has one of the best-selling singles of all time in Ireland, be worth posting in your opinion?
Who: Leo Moran (Saw Doctors lead guitarist / vocalist) When: Yesterday @ 4:30pm Where: Sitting in a middle carriage on the Dublin-Galway train at Heuston Station With: His partner, Eleanor Joyce (of the famous musical clan) Wearing: Black shirt and his trademark black-rimmed glasses Other notes: I was walking through the carriage looking for a seat, but got stopped in Leo’s vicinity for a minute or so while some old bat foostered around trying to get into a nearby seat. Leo is currently reading Michael Bradley’s book “Teenage Kicks: My Life as an Undertone”.
A top, top class spot @ironmoth. One to be rightly proud off.
I’m envious of you. Did you get a bit hysterical with excitement when you realised you were sharing the same carriage as Ireland’s foremost and most important singer songwriter of the last 100 years.
