Damien Delaney kept the gate of the Montessori both our kids go to open this morning. I said thanks a mill and he said not a bother and he commented that my two and a half yr old was flyin it on her scooter. She was in fairness. No need for the cage these mornings cc @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy as the smallie now has a place at a local early learning centre cc @Thomas_Brady. They both love scooting to and from school

Who: Ireland football manager Stephen Kenny
When: this morning, approx 8:55m.
I was on my way to work when I spotted a fella that looked familiar. Was about to fire out a big farmer salute - thinking it was someone that also knew me - when I realised it was the Irish manager. Kenny was in relatively casual clothing. Slacks, jumper, maybe a polo shirt. He looked like he was smiling. I’d say he had parked by the cathedral and was heading in the direction of the town centre. He was going to be passing solicitors, accountants, and insurance companies before a nice cafe and the banks. My guess would be one of these places was his port of call for a 9am meeting. Much like myself, I’d say he had a horrendous cow’s lick as a child.

Lived in Limerick for years (one year as a child and maybe 13 on and off as an adult). Grew up close to the county border. My Mrs is from the city and my folks are in the process of trying to move there, so I still visit there 3/4 times a year
