I would focus on the diet from now until Christmas and if no improvement then go to the doctor
cut down on the salt, start with fish oil (take a lot of it), eat salmon and oily fish, teaspoon olive oil, avocado
make vegetable soup with root vegetables, use lemon, garlic and not salt to flavour food, green leafy vegetables (make a smoothie in a Nutri Bullet)
don’t eat tomatoes or tomato based sauces, cut back on eggs, no fizzy drinks
basically clean up your diet - fruit and veg and good fats and fish oil

Here @carryharry good luck with Doctor Ulterior Motives diet here. If you are a haemo though this diet will probably worsen your condition.
