It would be even more beneficial if the same thing happened to Man City.

Luke Shaw only plays there once a year in the league.

Doesnā€™t seem very financially secure to be relying on Manchester United to be drawn away to Chelsea in the cup competitions.

Taken down or removed

Fairly mental this made it onto Sky Sports News in 2013.

Now we get Jamie Redknapp fellating the murderers of Jamal Khashoggi.

Jim Whiteā€™s response at the end is unintentionally hilarious in a Redknapp sort of way, mind.

Teuchal knew this was coming, he had a right cut off the fans for their singing of Romans name during the minutes applause for Ukraine (which in itself was a pile of bollocks but we are where we are).

Hopefully the cunts at Man City wont be far behind.

Abramovich always seemed like a decent enough sort of fella.
He didnā€™t seem to have that air of menace around him like some of the other Russians.

I had a Peugoet 309 just like that one, she was a GTI (petrol). Great motor.

That picture of Stamford Bridge with the cars parked behind the goal makes me think of the film Nuns On The Run.

Stamford Bridge used to have ridiculous portable type goal stanchions back then too, the type where the ball was liable to rebound out of the back of the net and the referee not notice it was a goal. Lovely example of that here by Adrian Littlejohn - the first part, not the second part, the referee did notice it was a goal.

Seems like an alright sort.

Thats like St Conleths.

Hopefully these sanctions will precipitate a return to the less glamorous Chelsea @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy fell in love with.

Dmitri Kharine in goal with his long trousers on. Calamitous own goals by Frank Sinclair. Jobbing right full Steve Clarke, the current jocko manager. Eddie Newton and Dennis Wise anchoring the midfield. Paul Furlong the battering ram, non scoring striker with someone like Gavin Peacock or Craig Burley breaking forward from the attacking mid role to pick up bits and pieces around the box.

That team got relegated too. 87/88.

1987-88

Despite finishing seven points above the bottom three at the end of the 1987-88 campaign, Chelsea were ultimately relegated via the play-offs. Having finished 18th, The Blues faced off against the sides placed third to fifth in the Second Division.

Although they comfortably dispatched Blackburn Rovers in the semi-finals, Chelsea lost 2-1 on aggregate to Middlesborough in the final and were relegated.

An immediate return to the First Division was sealed the following season under Bobby Campbell and The Blues have remained a top-flight club ever since - holding the honour of being one of six clubs to play in every Premier League season since the leagueā€™s inception in 1992.
