Robbie MacNamara, first cousin of JT MacNamara almost retired from being a jockey after Galway last year as he couldn’t keep below 12st. He’d never rode a winner in Cheltenham and now has 2 in 2 days exactly 1 year after his cousin nearly died after a fall. It really is a funny old game.
