Delighted for Davy after his recent demotion by Gigginstown. I know he won’t have welcomed Cooper’s misfortune earlier in the week but to follow up the Triumph Hurdle win with the big one is a reversal of fortunes in the most magnificent manner imaginable. No other game has the fluctuating fortunes and sheer highs and lows to such an extent as horse racing. I think @Mac alluded to this yesterday when he mentioned Robbie McNamara’s two winners in this year’s festival (high) compared to his brother being paralysed last year (low).
Should be placed 2nd.
