Was happy the lads game from 2-1 down to win 3-2 on the night. Penalties were a lottery and without Beckford we were at a disadvantage. Johnson hit a decent one which their keeper saved, Lowrys one was pretty crap. A fair achievement for them to score twice in last 10 mins without the main striker. Strange that Becchio didn’t take a penalty.

Leeds looked fooked unfortunately. At this stage holding onto a playoff place would be a success. Those cup runs really seem to have messed the team up. Beckford will walk at the end of the season so it looks like another few years in Division 3

Huge week for Huddersfield this. At home tonight against Walsall while our play-off rivals Colchester are away at Charlton and will hopefully be soundly whupped. On Friday we’re live on Sky at home to Millwall. It’s an insane division. I was reading about Rochdale being 36 years in the 4th Division and to be honest I’m surprised more clubs don’t reach similar figures. So long as we have enough money to buy decent players but not enough to buy the quality needed we’ll be in League One. With the points-deducted Southampton ready to go for promotion next season and teams like Palace and Sheff Wed possibly coming down, Leeds could be a while down here yet too.
