The Coca Cola League One Thread

It’s a good match. In truth, Charlton should be home and hosed. I backed Swindon for promotion from that league at the start of the season at 14/1, i probably wouldn’t be watching this match otherwise. I’m hoping they get to the final at least and give me a run for my money, though Millwall look the most likely to go up now…

Only saw a brief bit of him as he was taken off when they went down to 10. O’Brien takes the wrong option more often than not and he’s very nervous in possession. It’s absurd to think he was awarded senior caps. Jonathan Douglas in the engine room too.

i thought ex longford and cork striker dave mooney had a cracking game for charlton, got a goal as well,Trapp should be considering young lads like Mooney and Wes Hoolahan for these games against algeria / paraguay instead of proven failures like caleb folan.
id love millwall and charlton in the final, the old police horses would have a busy day out for sure

Penalty shoot out now for those casually browsing.

Fair few Irish lads on show. Wasn’t Randolph in a few squads a few years back?

I wonder will we see another penalty like Kermogrants one for Leicester the other night…

He was the U21 'keeper recently enough anyway.

That Nicky Bailey lad strikes me as a spastic. Captain of Charlton, spent most of the game trying to do tricks, then tries to blast his penalty into the top corner and puts it in row Z…

Does Kevin Lisbie still play for Charlton? They’ve dropped a long way since Mark Kinsella and Jonatan Johansson used pull the strings in the middle of the park.

Disgraceful booing by the Charlton fans as each Swindon player attempts to take a penalty.

Swindon to Wembley.

He won’t get abuse for it but that was far more reckless than Kermogrants alright. Fucking clown.

Good win for the Irish disapora with McGovern, Cuthbert and Ferry representing Celtic in the final. Add in Douglas, O’Brien and Timlin on the bench and it’s a good night for Ireland.

Ferry has the haricut of a traveller…

Sheffield’s finest are going to Wembley

Where they’ll be soundly beaten by the Terriers. They’re nowt without Ched.

Lads, what airport would you fly to if you’re going to Wem-ber-ley for the day? Is it a handy enough stadium to get to?

Any of them are handy. Heathrow is closest though. Tube brings you near the stadium.

Ta

That was a fucking smashing game of football tonight, by the way. Malahide’s Shaun Williams was absolutely superb and didn’t deserve to be on the aggregate losing side at all.

This lad got dog’s abuse from the Town fans and got a few slaps in the pitch invasion. I thought it was Billy from Neighbours coming on at first. Always hated Smith.

Tension beginning to build in a big way now in this Yorkshire derby.
