4 Fosters for 5 Irish Punts in DCU pre the euro days in 2000/2001 I think. And a pound a pint/drink on Pegs on a Monday night. I think the Palace on Camden went €1.50 or €2 a drink on Tuesday and Wednesday nights in 2002/2003 year. It was impossible not to come out of there completely mouldy

A lot of places College places operated a stock exchange type pricing system up until recent years anyway. Not sure if they are still in existence.
When the price of a vodka crashed from 4.50 to 1.50 it would be dangerous with the stampede towards the bar.

I think Voodoo Rooms was the first niteclub I ever went to in Limerick as a 17 year old on a work night out. And it was a pound a drink. Think it was gone by 01 though.
We’d a little tradition in tipping into town on a Sunday night, invariably to the Globe. Think it was Sundays and Mondays for the pound drinks. Carnage.
I worked in a restaurant in Canada for the summer in 2001. On Sunday nights, the local niteclub called The Liquor Dome had a separate entrance for anybody who worked in bars and restaurants. A dollar a drink (which was like 60p at the time) for the night.

You could be right, it might have been 1st semester 2000 when we used to go.
Suck it up and get it done. Best money you’ll spend this winter. My local lad is €150 but it’s worth every penny.
