The most overrated player in the history of the game.
The very mention of his name muddies this thread about someone who will go on to be a true great, having done all he can pulling European minnows along by himself.
He liked being a big fish.
He left Southampton and Blackburn though.
As an aside Utd could buy Newcastle with the money they get for Ronaldo.
96 Fa Cup Final Farmer. Dont forget that.
Totti has performed on the European stage.
Cantona never did.
Good to see minnows win it every now and again. I still think the Wimbledon side were better though.
Nobody outside England cares about the FA Cup, other than Guus Hiddink and quasi Brits.

ooh aah Cantona.
The dark days of Liverpool. The likes of Babb and Jason McAteer playing for your lot. Spice Boys indeed.
So United have 80 Million to spend from Ronaldo and 6 Million from the sale of Frazier Campbell. I wonder how much Hicks would want for Gerrard.

The Double Double.
Would you consider yourself quasi British? With your support of the British Lions and statements that you feel more Glaswegian than Irish Iâd say you comfortably fit in that category.
What Man Cityâs cup record like?

Liverpool arenât a selling club.
How come I never heard about this nursery club deal between Man Utd and Real before today?

You would have to dust off the record books for that Id say.:D:D
Why dust them off? You never shut up talking about the record books? Arenât they the same record books?

They might have to do when the banks want their money back Farmer.
Sure United and Real have a great relationship. Beckham, Van Nistelrooy, Heinze and Ronaldo now. 125 Mil there off them. Ronaldo was no way worth 80 Million realstically.
Citys one has a lot of blank pages. The playoff final win probbably got 10 pages.

sshh, donât mention Heinze, the waiter wasnât too impressed when he went to Madrid.
Christ - I canât believe I didnât see the nursery club link before now.
A play off win to get out of the third tier of english soccer?
Surely not.
Itâs more of a retirement village scenario, when youâve outlived your usefulness for Utd, off to Madrid with you!
