Lads if you could combine a full 6 forward line of players who’s counties could not cut the mustard who would it be @Big_Dan_Campbell maybe this could be another discussion
Start the thread yourself, he doesn’t have a monopoly on gaa discussion
He does.
You prick
The reality is that if there are any seriously talented gga players they are playing AFL
Mark o Connor is the greatest bogballer in 40 years. Clifford not a patch on him
TASE was better at this.
Ask any kerrymam. O Connor is the goat
Sinead ???
I’m fairly sure Murphy has a fairly poor record of scoring from play in Croke Park, and games against the big rivals in Ulster. Despite being good around the middle of the field at fetching ball he has rarely done it as a targetman as well, the year Donegal put him in on top of Justin Mcmahon and he was held scoreless is probably the last season he was used in there. Canavan and Joyce, despite being much smaller, were alot smarter at using their body to win ball.
Darren Fay. One of the last great full backs
Who was the lad again corner back was like a Dyson him and Fay had a great partnership
Mark O’Reilly
Stafford was better that the two of them
kevin Foley was my favourite meath player of all times
he kicked the shit out of various dublin half forwards and himslef and dave barry tried to maim each other for a couple of years
actually we ( I) should probably start a thread on Gaelic football 1987-1990 focusing on meath cork wars, Conor Counihan was another hard bastard - the row he started in the 1988 MSFC final after Dinny Allen put one in the top corner was brilliant
great days
What cork man asked a physio not to put a bandage on his bloody head because it would act like a beacon to every meath man in croke park?
