The Death of the GGA

A whole lot of fooling went on that day.

A knacker who never held a club membership let alone a Hurley has come out of internet retirement to save the face of the gga.
Iā€™m actually a hurling man myself rubby second, but id follow you into battle any time. You have serious leadership qualities and itā€™s driving some lads demented.

Polo grounds was within the standard dimensions as set out in the Rules at the time. It was one of the conditions for staging it there. It was the biggest baseball field in New York at the time.

What size field was it for polo?

Donā€™t think that incarnation of the Polo grounds wasever used for Polo

The pitchers mound was a lovely addition.

Was the Baseball Ground ever used for baseball?

@flattythehurdlerā€™s ā€œPaddy MacHooferā€ has been the highlight of this thread for me so far.

That stupid looking fool couldnā€™t even take a quick peak in the door without it looking put on, just to make a giffe. Only a complete moron could make a hames of having a quick peak in the door. Iā€™ve seen his numpty head before, who is he?

You probably saw him play in the goals for Roscommon minors.

I think not.

My God.

He was inspired by Shane Cake Curran

Lay back in the chair Curran with the hands behind the head?

Tottenham playing in front of a half empty stadium here in a very important fixture.

By @mikehunt reckoning that makes the GAA a better organisation than the Premier League

Only the shortass stumpy little rugby earbiters like yourself brought match attendances into the discussion so do the world a favour and never post on this forum again.
