The Death of the GGA

The least they could do is allow him to skim a few quid off the club lotto.

2.6m people watched the Women’s World Cup final in the UK. Show me an equivalent GGA rating.

The GGA have had a century and a half to spread themselves globally and have simply failed miserably.

Some very, very strange lads on this thread. They can’t stand that we have popular native sports for some reason. It’s eating them up from the inside.

Hurling was invented by the west brits in Trinners mate

This thread is about GGA clubs robbing kids to pay for S&C coaches

The banks are “too big to fail” eh?

Setanta and his mates were playing hurling millennia before Trinners was even founded.

Sounds more popular than I gave it credit for. Where was the final played and what was the attendance?

You’re a hurling snob

Amazing how the sport has grown from those little acorns.

I had a quick look and the attendance at the Women’s Rugby World Cup final was 17,115. That number just fell short of the attendance at the camogie final of 20,438 but quite a way short of the 46,286 at the Ladies Gaelic Football equivalent.

What gives @Tim_Riggins? Surely you’re not throwing up misleading stats again.

Grown? It’s played in about 6 or 7 counties.

& that’s been generous

Waterford

Clare

That secretary is all that’s wrong with the GAA at the moment, looking for that €1 million to develop football, no mention of Hurling, handball or rounders, probably from some shit hole in Longford.
