The Definitive Hipster

Thats cassidys scumpot number 1 hipster pub in dublin at the minute

Their voucher.

The majority of it, yes

Where was this?

Against the grain, used to be Feile pub on Wexford Street

Was also Nasdaq, and many many others.

Nasdaq?? Fucks sake.

Pretty sure they had a ticker in the bar, some beers prices went up, others went down over the course of the night, etc. Of all the name changes that was the first time I darkened the door of that building. I’ll not be doing it again.

Apparently one company is behind a load of “original” places that have opened recently.

True story. They have cottoned on to the fact that the cool people have an attention span of about 6 months so they open up a new trendy place every 4-6 months.

What was the name of it when it was very dark inside and had weird, Dante’s Inferno style, paintings on the wall. Circa 06/07.

will there be room for all the queues on dawson street

That sounds like a cracking idea

Some cunt of a street now, Sams Bar, 37, Cafe En Seine that new cocktail place underneath fire

It was a goth bar pre feile which would fit your description.

Sure it does, its doing a smashing trade too, oh wait…

A lad in his 20s wearing a certain type of shoe for the sole (!) purpose of showing off his socks which are distinctly and noticeably odd e.g. blue and yellow.

Saw such a thing earlier in the week.
