Yes.
Do you think any of the diaspora ever drank tae down the bog CM?
Not a chance Mac, theyâd never have left if they tasted the might of the bog on a dewy morning.
Yes indeedy.
Fraid not Mac, Christmas in Aussie is shit, so Iâll have to suffer it again. Look after the hostelries of Wexford for me, Iâll be thinking of themâŚ
No.
xmas over here is a bit weird. frosty the snowman on the radio and it up on the 30s outside.
At this time of year do you resent your woman making you travel half the way around the world?
My woman didnât make me do anything, i chose to come over.
While i will miss the couple of days around christmas, i wonât miss the aftermath.
Wonât be at home for Christmas, spending it in Ireland . Arriving back Monday for ten days. Indifferent to the whole thing.
Positives: Seeing family and tfk brethren (arguably the same thing).
Negatives: Hassle of traveling, not being here for Giants @ Jets or Cowboys @ Giants, Christmas is generally boring, false happiness of others built on the receipt of material possessions, eating too much, everything is closed, seeing people I went to school with, will no doubt end up in Coppers at some stage next week.
Are you not leaving out a guest appearance for TFK AC in the positives?
Winter break so no games. My last appearance over the summer was strictly a one off anyway.
I tell a lie, I just looked at the calendar, Iâm back for 15 days
Feel free to meet Thrawneen in Paddy Blues on Xmas eve as I shanât be able to make it.
No
nah, will be in Ireland, hopefully catch a game & see my beloved Roma before I go to oz though
Some amount of panic buying of Xmas presents here at the airport. Madness considering the sales started on the high streets last week.
Good buzz though. Safe home to any diaspora members traveling today.
Spotted a brother of two forumites here on the same flight as me on the way home, just remember his face from ClonmelâŚ
Was this yesterday evening into Shannon?
Yes
