The Dodger is in The Joy

In years to come it will be like the Sean Treacy memorial on Talbot Street.

He’ll be in the Joy tonight anyway. All prisoners sentenced in Dublin spend at least their first night in the Joy, while they are getting processed into the system.

Ooooooffffffttttt

If there was a guaranteed separate jail for white collar criminals, I think I’d almost definitely give white collar crime a go.

Listened to a podder there last night one additional nugget I hadn’t heard before. When DJ and the first wife split up they put the house up for sale. In the process of selling it turned out he had built the house with absolutely no planning permission :grinning:

Applied for retention and Kilkenny co co granted it anyway

I had a really awful dream this morning that I was getting out of jail after a stretch, and I didn’t know what to do with myself. It was really awful. He’s in a really bad situation now. I was so relieved to wake up, but I still feel uneasy now. I was Ned Kelly for a bit of the dream also.

I’m amazed a weather nerd was actually able to meet a woman

DJ Carey: how his cancer con fooled so many

This was a good listen…

The GPA have questions to answer.they gave DJ Carey €30,000…there is obviously no governance in the organisation that has to change now.

This isn’t even funny. An ex player tells them hes a bit short, and they just hand over 30k ?

Not something you forecasted?

I’d say we don’t know the half of it.

I’d even say we know less than 35% of the it

Who in the GGA knew and when? This is a massive scandal. I know there’s a compliant local media but this is taxpayers money.

Will the GPA be getting the FAI treatment at an Oireachtas committee or is that just reserved for when someone like John Delaney gets more money for Irish football from FIFA?
