Seems like Kilkenny GAA are like the Catholic Church with the child abusing priests. Just keep moving them on and hope the problem goes away. It’s very hard to believe Kilkenny journalists and people involved at county board level didn’t know what was going on seeing how wide he was casting his net.

Kilkenny is the best place to commit scandal, as they’re very tight knit and guarded there.
Shur they still havent admitted to pissing in the powder.
They are great to comment on other scandals all the same and think they are so funny but amazingly they disappear when it’s one of their own.

Luckit shur I suppose I’ll bite. Tis very hard to hit a man when he’s down and DJ is very much down, the man himself was renowned for exemplary discipline on the field and while the media have made a bigger issue of this whole thing than was necessary. There’s lads up and down the country doing worse week in and week out and leave it so to the issues that have been created around crime as a result of our governments immigration policy but the reason there isn’t a whole pile of talk about this in KK is that so many people got so much joy from watching the great man in action throughout his career. Now he’s paying a very heavy penalty for his misdemeanors but I’ve no doubt a man of DJs discipline will emerge reformed from the spell he’ll end up doing.

And tfk aside my own thoughts on Dj are it’s a sad case. I’ve never came across anything like it in my life.
He obviously brought incredible joy to so many people but if you do the crime you got to do the time.
I’d like it if he got his weather forecasts correct, he’s been way off for the last two Electric Picnics even though he apparently lives nearby.
