The difference between you and I mate (when it comes to the media) is I can actually recognize bias whether I agree with the viewpoint or not. I have no problem calling Fox News biased, and rarely watch it for the same reason I rarely watch MSNBC. There are some presenters worth watching on CNN, such as Chris Cuomo, but others who are hopelessly biased.

Increasingly, and overwhelmingly, even in so called “reputable” outlets, the right has moved away from editorial stances and towards the disinformation/propaganda model, and this isn’t confined to the US by any means.
It cannot be otherwise, because the Republican party itself, in common with its allies in the UK and European far right, Russia, Brazil, the Philippines etc. is now an active mass disinformation network, and there is no reality in which the Trump regime is not a stinking, corrupt, vile, crypto-fascist cesspit which symbolises the worst of all humanity.
MSNBC is a mixture of news and information. It has a liberal editorial stance and programmes like Maddow and Lawrence O’Donnell back up their narratives with actual verified information in the public domain.
CNN is centrist and does the same as MSNBC.
Fox is overwhelmingly far right propaganda. They cite two actual journalists who work for them, Sheppard Smith and Chris Wallace, to claim they are an actual news network. This is what all disinformation networks do. Russia Today do the same. They are a fig leaf decorating a steaming pile of sewage.
Fox is literally where Trump gets his “information” from. They are the US’s equivalent of North Korean state TV.

A news channel’s primary role is to report the news and then editorialize. On the night of the NK meeting CNN devoted one minute to it and 141 minutes to the Cohen testimony where nothing new was reported that wasn’t already known, except for a few new lies which Cohen is now likely facing perjury charges for. CNN has become a jokeshop, which is why their ratings are headed to zero compared to Fox and MSNBC.
