The Electric Vehicle Thread

Iā€™d be surprised if we havenā€™t had at least 4/5 of them going simultaneously.

Start them all up together to get the full whack.

Oh I will yeah.

UK has the same issue.

Wahey!

Some info here.

To be fair thatā€™s the point of the chargers at the train stations. Theyā€™re ā€œdestination chargers.ā€ 45 minutes is still a long wait anyway. I donā€™t have my EV any more. Once the taxis went electric the fuckers just sat at the chargers all day.

Thatā€™s a bit of horseshit. Iā€™ve a separate 30mA fuse box for the charger. That was the standard installation when the ESB/SEAI installed mine.

We do

30mA wouldnā€™t charge your mobile phone. Hit me with some photos and specs.

It charges my car.

I doubt that its 30ma.

A 80A 30ma RCD would mean 80A of current can pass through but it would trip out when 30ma of current is missing.

As an aside, I made a claim on my home insurance years ago after a leak made shit of my floors. The assessor told me that the leading cause of fires in homes was dishwashers and you may as well leave a LG TV on when you go out.

He also said if you close all the doors in your house it makes a big difference to the smoke damage If you do have a contained fire.

You left out the crucial detail.
