That is a hideous-looking cage

Stunning

EVs are not cages.

Expect to see a lot of MG full electric EV taxis. Apparently with all of the grays and incentives a taxi driver can pick one of these up for circa 10k net

Buy two, drive one as the other charges.

the new lampost chargers look cool

Any pictures?

I got a new 7.2kwh charger at home there the other day.
Wallbox is the brand. Comes with a nice app to configure and check status.

Handy to able to fully charge overnight. My old one could only do just over 3kwh. So the newer car with 64kwh battery took a long time to charge.

It’s insane

Essentially all fully electric vehicles have that kind of pick up. Battery power is instant speed. Petrol/diesel engines have a lag to it.

Tesla acceleration are on the more extreme side. But the Hyundai and Kia I’ve owned have an instant nippy pick up from a standing start even at the most economic driving mode. The sports mode brings you into VERY nippy category. Tesla fast mode is another step up again.

Typically takes a couple of seconds for petrol to burn and give power to ICE cars. At traffic lights this means electric cars would be up to speed and gone before an ICE car gets up to speed.

I don’t see much if any benefit to that.

Burning a lad to race from traffic lights to be beside them again at the next traffic lights is a lot like winning a battle on the INTERNET. pointless but very satisfying.
