His take on the music is bang on in fairness. Itâs pub rock at best.
I was puzzled by this bit. Which guitar based artists do âfastâ songs? The Undertones? What is a fast song? Commercial dance music from the mid-90s?
But the problem is the music. Oasis donât do fast songs. Noel plays his guitar as if heâs scared it will break, and Oasisâs funkless, sexless plod is always carefully pitched below the velocity at which fluid dynamics dictate that you might spill your lager. Is there anything more useless than a rock band that doesnât rock ?
