The Franco Sensi AS Roma 2013/14 Season Thread

DeRossi has been superb tonight.

The absolutely fabulous Florenzi departs for Marquinho.

:clap::clap::clap:

Diego has left the stadium.

De Rossi gets a 10 on 10 for me tonight.

Just perfect.

TI AMO!!!

Disappointing loss for us in this Derby del Sole but the season is long and I still expect us to be fighting it out with Roma for the title come the end of the season.

Sabatini has just told reporters we have signed a player who will join us in January but he would not be drawn on the identity of the player.

Danielino with a few nice word about Marco.

“We worked hard, all together on the field and off it. You defend with 11 men and I want to thank Borriello, who at the start of the season was meant to be going all over the place, but he sets the best example in the team.

“He trains hard, is an ideal professional and always has a smile. Despite getting absurdly jeered by the fans, he has proved decisive and always gave 100 per cent.”

@The Wild Colonial Bhoy

You going growing a moustache, bro? Definitely going to be sporting a Marco moustache from now on.

A wonderful dig by the Curva Sud to the serpent Bandage on Friday night where they unveiled a banner stating:

“We were here. We are here. We’ll always be here. In victory or defeat, never slaves to the result”

Credit to forum member @JBL for his role in its unveiling.

Not a Roma fan but a general well-wisher towards the club as long as my beloved Napoli are not playing them. This is clearly the true Roma thread for season 2013/14.

To use a darting analogy, this thread is the BDO (originsal and best) compared to the rival pdc (cheap imitation) equivalent.

I would like to issue a swift rebuttal to Bandage’s latest serious of false and shameless posts.

He has had a dig at my loyalty which is a mute point as my loyalty to Roma has been continuous and unbroken. Bandage was suspended from this thread because for the treachery he showed to the city, club and captain I love. He then comes back to our doorstep with a box of chocolates and bouquet of flowers and tells us he wants to be back in our life, when he fucked off he was asked back, he was given time to come back. Bandage clearly has a short memory and views Roma as some sort of a cheap. We gave him time to simmer after his initial resignation and he made his mind up, he no longer wanted Roma.

When he made his mind up he no longer wanted Roma, we made our mind up that Roma no longer wanted him. We told him that and he decided to set up an illegitimate thread, one that is not pure. He even had the cheek to falsely claim to have his thread endorsed by Francesco Totti. Totti is a true Romanista and we are disciples of Totti, like him we know Roma is for life. Rather than make false claims about endorsements, we decided to commemorate a life long Romanista, a man who was born one and died one - Franco Sensi. Rather than sully greats of the club, we look to honour them.

As the banner read on Friday night - “We are not slaves to the result”.

To clarify matters on the accusations by Bandage, posted on the other thread - the illegitimate one. I did leave PSG for Monaco, I also left the Wigan Athletic chapter of TFK, but in both cases my resignation was cordial and respectful. I never went back cap in hand and looked for reinstatement and if I did I would have the decency to accept the decisions of those whose service has been impeccable.

SPQR

Totti could be out for a month and will miss our games against Udinese and Chievo. No further news on Gervinho as yet - we will be tested in attack now with these injuries. Hopefully Marco can grasp the opportunity he will get now.

Meanwhile, over on the illigitimate thread it seems like they will let in just about anybody:

They really are amoral.

I am pleased to announce we will be adopting “Grazie Roma” as this thread’s official song.

@mick jones , @Sidney, @Scrunchie & myself are far from happy with your brief love affair with WAFC. You fucked off & left us when we needed you most.

You are no better than @Bandage , hypocrite.

Huh.

My departure was very amicable - I even waited on at Sidney’s behest. Wigan was like a brief fling to me, I hurt them but it was because I never truly loved them even though I have some nice memories of the time I spent as a Wigan fan. I won’t be going back cap in hand and I wouldn’t set up an illegitimate threat when my advances are turned down. Bandage has acted like a rapist in his behaviour.

Roma is the love of my life and I would NEVER let the them down. The best way I can describe my emotional bond with Roma is through the words of a Rick Astley song.

Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you

Bandage gave us up
He let us down
He ran away and deserted us
He didn’t make us cry
But he said goodbye
And he betrayed us and hurt us

Get the fuck out of here.
