The fixtures for the new season have been announced, we open up with a tricky tie at home to Fiorentina, our second last game of the season is against Lazio (Roma are the away side here) - I would love it if we beat them in that game to secure the title.

Wonder who we have in line to replace him if he’s off. I would be very happy with Manolas but he looks close to Arsenal, Chiriches doesn’t really inspire me with an awful lot of confidence and if he does come I would also be hoping for another defender to arrive. There were reports lately that we have overspent on our budget by €15m so would be looking to offload one of Benatia/Destro/Ljajic to account for that. I felt we needed another centre back even before Benatia left which he now looks likely to.
