Signing in. Just watched a delightful French flick on TG4 called Romauld et Juliette
That may give me the title of saddest.

Thinly veiled 'I’ve no porn collection"

Signing in. Totally fla’d after driving over 300 miles today… I feel like Kowalski in Vanishing Point, don’t give a fcuk anymore, knocking pills back like there’s no tomorrow and getting irritable with radio DJs.

Speed means freedom of the soul. The question is not when he’s going to stop, but who is going to stop him.

Not at all. A kind of class divide comedy with the brilliant Daniel Autieul.
Will be delving into the porn before naptime

I learned a super French word while reading NNT earlier: vivant or something, describing a playboy type character who lives a fine life and is in possession of a considerable amount of personal charm. There is no real English equivalent word apparently.

Cad
Bounder
Playa

Yeah but none of the above imply that the lad in question is actually a sound skin as well as being a player

You’d surely heard of bon vivant before, Sledge?

Oh please with the shocked look

Au contraire. Non. Bon Viveur, I’ve heard of in its assimilated English language guise, but not vivant on its own.

Sorry, the word I am referring to is flambeur

True I suppose.
What about ligind?

No, I definitely prefer flambeur
