Apparently the lady in question came over the tannoy on the tube and made the hilarious announcements in the article above to hundreds of commuters. Very harsh giving her the sack. I would have given her a London Underground sticker with the word Banter across the symbol.
“We are sorry to announce that due to female staff having PMS, all services are suspended until further notice”
“We are sorry to announce that due to Ugly commuters on the line, the 7;45 service to Docklands is scared to leave Clonsilla”
And how’s about the real ones?..
This is what I hear every morning:
This train is for Dublin Connolly…mBaile Athat Cliath, Statiun u Conghaile…
Next station Connolly station… mBaile Athat Cliath, Statiun u Conghaile…
Change here for, dart, Luas, 90 bus, and intercity services,
Please mind the gap and have your ticket ready for validation…
This Train is for Connolly station…
This train Terminates here…
ALL CHANGE PLEASE… ALL CHANGE…
Then it repeats, about 4 times…
I’d rather that young one doing some funny’s.
A bit like the Westport Gaurd, only with tit’s…
“Would the gentleman in the red shirt on platform 4 please note that mobile telephone coverage is just as good on the middle of the platform as it is on the edge, thank you!”
It’s not that hard a thread to get lads once you just completely ignore the 2nd post!! The 3rd post is classic dry British wit which I find quite funny.
