Louth county board have made an appeal for vigilance following damage to the new GAA stadium in Dundalk.
It is believed that the damage was caused over the weekend to the new €24m stadium which is currently under construction at the Inner Relief Road.
A statement from Louth GAA posted on Wednesday read: “There was some property damage carried out at our new stadium in Dundalk over the weekend. We would ask everyone who lives in or is in the vicinity of the stadium to please keep an eye out.
“If you see anyone on the site or notice any suspicious activity, please report it to Louth GAA immediately.
“Thank you for your cooperation and continued support in helping to protect our facilities.”
The new county ground is set to have 14,000-seat capacity when completed next year.
