For everyone really, i saw anothe tweet with the benefits of reducing temperatures on streets from 40 degrees to 26 degrees or something due to shade. Proper boulevards are well needed. I was in philadephia earlier in the summer, must have been 30 odd degrees (in the civilised worlds measurements) but it was very nice walking from the museum of art to the city centre. The city centre was uncomfortable

I believe it would be a rare topic of universal agreement on here. Madness to think cork city concil spent hundreds of thousands on ‘robotic trees’ when you could plant some lovely natural trees to remove carbon in the city centre air

They’ll be uprooted in storms causing damage or potentially even loss of life. The leaves will clog up drains causing floods. You’d want your head examined building trees in this day and age.

The UK are building (and will be commissioning soon) the most expensive nuclear plant in the world. We need to look at nuclear to replace gas.
