TE as a Flex Option
Again, guessing itās 0.5PPR (a la turds last year) Iām OK with this but would advocate raising rushing yards to .15p/yd (as opposed to the standard 0.1) This will help reduce the growing disparity between RBs and WRs. Most mocks now will have up to 8 or 9 WRs in the first round and RBās are facing extinction. Iād like to see the Segunda take a proactive step in preserving the lifespan of the RB.
Not sure if you can adjust this, but Iād propose the draft moving away from the traditional snake draft to a third round reversal style draft whereby Round 3 is reversed from the original āsnakeā draft order, so the person going last in Round 1 gets to go first in Rounds 2, 3 and 4. I believe this helps create a level playing field as the 1.01 spot is infinitely the best slot in typical snake drafts. Waivers ā We typically operate a system where priority is the inverse of the league standings. I believe this system rewards mediocrity. Iād like to see a blind bid waiver system, where GMs submit ābidsā for players from their franchiseās allocated āpot of moneyā. Iām not sure rewarding the person who picked last in the first round with three straight first picks is ideal either - I agree that the traditional snake format is advantageous to the first pick - but does this person then get punished in the proposed format to the last pick in rounds 2, 3 and 4?

To expand on the above. TE in flex is obvious. The TE position is changing year on year and in some cases a TE lines up as a WR as often as some WRās.
Rushing yards increase, think it is worthwile. The RB is getting less and less prominent, so a bit of a boost to them increases the scope of players whilst drafting.
Draft - Iāve never really had any issue about the drafting position based on snake. The person going last in round 1 getting the first round pick on the next 3 would be too much. Going last in round one is not a really bad position. Leave it be.
Waivers - Disagree that it rewards mediocrity. It helps a team who may be suffering improve. It can be a shitty way for someone doing well to not get on waivers much, but it brings parity to the league and keeps it competitive. sometimes the team in bottom needs a helping hand after suffering a big injury to a key player (eg that cunt Luck getting injured last year on me!)
