Especially coming from the centre back

As a dishonourable mention, the forum did well that no-one mentioned this:-
The most excited I got all decade was probably dislocating my shoulder in Lille whenever Robbie Brady scored. It popped back in but then about 9 months later came out again and wouldnât go back in that time.
Speaking of McManus, when he overturned Neil McGee in the Ulster Final, slotted it over the bar then roared in his face, that was very satisfying
Some county for its size, absolutely remarkable. Defying all the âfundingâ arguments with the super teams.
Ireland being knocked out of three WCs was nominated as 3 great moments
Joe canning got a goal, and I canât even remember who it was against, but it was in the championship, a long ball came in over his left shoulder as he was running toward goal to the right of the square. He caught it and buried it so quickly that, watching on telly, I wasnât sure what happened until I saw the umpire furiously waving the green flag. Even then I thought he must be mistaken. It was some score.
Against KK - unreal.
I thought it was but wasnât sure.
I was watching it in a bar in KK â I thought as purveyours (is this the right word?) of the game, that theyâd appreciate the beauty of it âand it was a thing of pure beauty ---- but it got nothing from them.
You were in kk mate. The first two letters give a clue as to what they think of outsiders.
Liverpool winning the premier league was memorable
The very sad passing of Bob Willis reminded me of this
Ireland v England 2011 Cricket World Cup
What Kevin OâBrien did that day was and will always remain astonishing
In 3 successive world cups from 07 to 15 we beat Pakistan England and WI. Some achievement and no doubt contributed massively to achieving Test recognition.
The celebrations in the stand were even more memorable
Did you smash some heads mate?
I know someone who got on the telly
Hands down greatest sporting moment of the decade was HWH Bunclody winning the Wexford Intermediate hurling final in 2010.
