This is the game of the weekend . Both counties will want to win . A probable glamour home tie with the all Ireland champs at stake .
Big pressure on Carlow here as well to be fair. They’ve had their headline result with the draw with Galway, but it’ll be worth a fuck if they can’t put one over Laois.

Carlow are the form team, have the upper hand on Laois in recent years at all grades, and are at home. Massive numbers missing from the Laois panel and Cha injured. Poor aul PJ Scully is being asked to hurl midfield and we’ve a dwarf playing corner back. Mark Kavanagh has had more ACL operations than Margaret Cash has had children and he’s still being asked to carry the attack. Poor aul Pickys Star is on the wane at a young age and shur Willie Dunphy would soon as kill you as look at you and is a red card waiting to happen.
