Yes , there at least 4 candidates in almost every state, Stein and the Libertarian along with Trump and the black Indian lady. In other states there are even more candidates on the ballot and some may 8 or 9.
As has been explained eleventy eight times in the past, each state is different, in how you can get on the ballot, how you can vote, how the votes are counted. Its a federal republic, not a monolith.

What’s the point of what exactly? That different people are on the ballot in different places?
There is no point, just that different states have different rules and requirements, some have a fairly high bar, some would let your neighbor’s dog on.
If your next question is why isn’t there the same rules everywhere, then I’d suggest one lacks a very basic understanding of how the USA as a country is set up as a Federal Republic.
So maybe that’s the answer to your question, it’s a federal republic where each state has significant amount of autonomy on how they run the show. It’s a very fundamental part of what makes it the USa.

Odd question in fairness. There’s fellas that run for Dail elections and get a handful of votes. Why do they run?

If you run for the Dail you have some chance of getting elected in your constituency, however slim.
But if you run for president of the US in only 10 of the 51 states, then you haven’t a hope.
It’s pointless.
