I know how you feel RTT, Iāve found hammering a sliotar off a wall for half an hour does the trick.
If Iām driving then I quickley throw on my Damien Demsey live in Vicar Street cd and roar along to it.
Dp
More good advice , Jesus Christ the wife just put on GrahamNorton and Tom Hanks is on it. With that combination of twats it just took all my strength not to fire the remote at the TVā¦ CUNTS!!
Bear Grylls is on the BBC one. Heāll probably drink his own piss. Oh Cameron Diaz is on too.
RTT, any chance you could get some of the other Ballysteen lads to post? Iām sure I speak for everyone when I say Iām fucking fed up of that Runt cunt.
Iāll get on it Bandage, I will appeal to the more urban and chic players.
Cheers mate. Thereās only so many IT Help Desk tales anyone can take. Itās so bad I wouldnāt mind Puke returning.
His putting dirt into a sock at the moment.
RTT, weāll take a spin into town and engage in your favourite pass time, abusing cops.
I picked up a calf injury in a recent TFK game.
Lots of pain originally and after an initial recovery itās fucking sore every evening now and is hampering my couch sitting and sleeping.
Iāve taken a couple of rather poor quality mages of it - see below. The bruising isnāt easy to see in the camera light. Can someone confirm that a 6 inch bruise is par for the course with a calf strain? (Oh and thatās a candle in the background of the first picture).
Bruising as far as i know means that you have pulled your calf rather than simply strained it.
Is a pull the same as a tear?
Personally wouldnāt have put the TV beside a radiator. Also donāt like the way the UPC box is not centered below the TV or how there are loose cables lying around.
No a pull could be a very slight tear but more often than not occurs when the muscle is overstretched while a tear is more serious where you rupture part or all of the muscle which leads to a lot more bruising and swelling along with far more recovery
I was reluctant to go for that location also BT but itās the obvious place for it in the room. I will think again about the orientation but Iād find it difficult to organise the room any other way.
The UPC box is on the right hand side because thereās a PS3 beside it on the left and then an Archos MP4 player to the left of that again. Theyāre black and donāt show on the photo very well for some reason. Again Iām happy to consider other suggestions and Iāll endeavour to tidy up the cabling which is just loads of loose PS3 controller cables and some HDMI cables for a laptop and a tablet not being used.
Your feedback is invaluable to me.
So how is a pull worse than a strain?
I should have pointed out that thereās swelling also.
There are more knowledgable posters on here in this area but a strain and a pull are in essense the same thing really, both come from muscles being either overstretched or overworked - like when you try and do a bit of running after months of non activity.
Pretty much right here from my understanding. A tear is when there is literally a tear, the muscle tears its fibers. Imagine a cotton cloth, and you tear it. Well thats very similar to what happens a muscle and the swelling and bruising comes from the bleeding caused by this. The muscle needs to knit itself back together (basiacally grow back new cells). Now you can help this along or it can happen naturally. If you continue to use the muscle this obviously slows it down. If you use massage and strength exercises in recovery then it will knit back in a neater way and the scar tissue will be reduced and will be less likely to tear again.
Obviously you need professional help with this. But i would say a calf tear is 4-6 weeks, can be a cunt of an injury and i preach severe caution with it as not correcting it fully can lead to further injury in the calf, but also in your hamstrings, glutes and lower back as your posterior chain is weakened now.
I took a dozen or so advil on monday for a hangover i had and about another dozen or so Nurofen yesterday due to a headache I had -possibly from all the beer on sunday and tiredness- I have an awful dose of the scutters today, could this be linked heavyish intake of these
