The long and bumpy road to Super Bowl XLVI

My greatest ever night on TFK was when we beat the lard out of the Patriots last year.

Whats the horse collar tackle? Iā€™ve heard It mentioned on a number of occasions over the weekend. Is it a new rule?

Just if you drag a guy down from the collar at the back of his neck - can cause whiplash type injuries and concussion if it causes the head to smack on the ground.

Iā€™m starting to question my decision to support The Giants.
Perhaps I should have listened to Bandage after all.

Not sure if it was already posted but an NFL delegation are visiting Dublin on Friday to look at Croke Parks suitability to host a regular season NFL game,

Watched the Steelers at the Chiefs the other night. Chiefs QB Palco was a disaster, which kinda made it more interesting to watch. His own supporters were booing him after after only a couple of plays. Made his NFL debut last week I think, heā€™s only 28. Close game though right down to the end-mostly down to Chiefs defence.

Great news if an NFL game comes to Dublin. Iā€™m there if so.

Jack Del Rio has been fired. Jacksonville are a terrible franchise.

of the teasm vying for the shittest rating -

Jacksonville - the worst in my opinion. crap crowds. crap stadium, no atmosphere. terrible team, half assed QB pick in the draft, dump the starting QB the week before the season starts. shit jerseys/kit. all in all, a nothing team. never been to the superbowl either. dump them, they wont be missed
Cleveland - at least they have some history and a big fanbase. the dawgpound is notorious and hardcore fanbase in the stadium. they went mental when Baltimore took their team. Bad, but at least they have some semblance of being kept.
Detroit - dodgy. having an ok season. in a tough division with Green Bay and Chicago. again, a long history and a decent fan base. I reckon they have the record this season of the most false starts by opposing teams, crowd is very vocal.
Houston - in the same division as the Jags, so really should be doing more. Indy put them to the sword for the last few years, and finally look a playoff team. about time too. only being saved because they are in football heartland. hard to get nostalgic about expansion teams, them being the last ones to join the league.
Cincinnati - again, tough division with Baltimore and Pittsburgh, and have flashes of looking good. but can be a joke of an organisation at times. not known as the ā€˜Bunglesā€™ or nothing. needs a shake up with the owner or general management
Carolina - were looking bad for a while. a shot int he dark superbowl in 03 helped them, btu have been sliding back down since. Cam this season has brought back more fans. they need to start moving up the ladder now.
Arizona - going in the right places. superbowl appearance, brand new stadium, and getting more crowds.
Tampa Bay - shit Florida crowd like always. all games are black outs. they are lucky Jacksonville is faring worse. seems like the Glaziers would be happy to relocate them to London.

Blaine Gabbert is an absolute fucking joke. Took a load of sacks the other night even when he seemed to have plenty of opportunity to get rid of the ball.

MJD is the only shining light in that offense.

Iā€™m considering the Texans as my team for next season so more than a little disappointed to see them on that list. Theyā€™ve a great offence just now anyway and are a good team to watch at the moment.

How can you not include the Redskins?

they would have been next alright, with Minnesota. Washington will never lose it though, as crap and all as they are, with the history and the nations capital, would never happen.

Well they hadnā€™t a baseball team for a few decades so itā€™s not impossible.

true, but cant see others being overlooked for Washington to go. and football is Americas game now too  they have had a team there since the 30ā€™s or so I think when the boston team relocated there. not impossible, just I could never see it happening.

Just switched over. Whoā€™s this ginger guy in the Sky studio?

dont know. couldnt watch him so just had redzone blank screen on waiting.

some interesting starts. Freeman out for the bucs. I cant remember my picks for this week, but I would fancy carolina now. And Yates starts for Houston, I reckon Atlanta get a lot of the ball tonight. Ryan could do damage!!

von miller out for Broncos too, big loss. as impressive as Tebow has been, I still never fancy them to win their games. Vikings already scoring a safety early on and moving well now. Faulk just fumbled for Patriots, but challenging it now.

Very impressive from the Steelers so far. Miami have actually turned into a serious team over the last few weeks. Too late to matter for them this season but still.

Gronk is getting the job done right here.

Watching games without a lead commentary team just isnā€™t the same. Bit of Buck & Aikman value to get things back to normal later on though.

That was impressive by Tebow.
