Is there an issue that he blew the whistle too early?
Thatâs my question but they all seem to be ignoring that (presumably because theyâre not sure).
Shocking call.
Wow, that was some let-off for the Steelers. Awful officiating.
There is an issue with the whistle. It was the same last night with a fumble in the Lions Saints game. Collinsworth and Michaels said that because the whistle went before anyone gained possession of the fumble it goes back to the offense.
Thatâs poor. Whatâs the point of having the challenge process if it can be undermined by a stray whistle? Needs to be looked at in the off-season.
I agree. The great thing is that they will address it quite quickly if someone raises it as an issue.
This might be tough to address. Do you tell the referees to hold their whistle as they have the instant replay as a safety net?
I wouldnât be wild about that.
I guess thatâs the only option. Huge turning point potentially. Denver should have recovered the ball 20-25 yards from the Steelersâ endzone and with a 20-6 lead. Instead the drive ends with Pittsburgh cutting the gap to 7. As far as I can tell, there isnât the same culture of blaming referees in American sports. Is that fair to say? I recall Ed Hockuli fucking up by blowing too early in the San Diego-Denver game a couple of years ago.
Shocking officiating, Tim Tebow is bossing this game in a big way though, making some great plays.
23-16 now. Big Benâs getting things moving for the Steelers much better now and it could be set up some more Tebow time magic.
And a fumble opens up the game further for the Steelers.
What a fuck up by McGahee.
Whatâchu [color="#000000"]talkinâ '[color="#000000"]bout, [color="#000000"]Willis
Jesus (loves Tebow) theyâd never do anything easy would they?
Can just imagine the prayers and benedictions Tebow is offering up for McGahee now.
Cmon steelers to fuck!!
For those who need a refresher, here are the official sudden-death overtime playoff rules: http://bit.ly/wBpP6e
Champ Bailey could have gone a long way to sealing the game for Denver had he held onto that interception opportunity.
Oh ship
And weâre level. Smashing game and a great finish in store.
