Yes. It looks over at the island which now houses Waterford Castle hotel and golf club. The early battle scene was filmed in Mrs Gossips field which is now Ballinakill Court and. Avenue. Another scene is filmed in what is now Blenheim Heights. A lot of locals got jobs as extras. Kubrick was terrified of being hit by the RA and wrapped up filming as soon as he could. If only heā€™d known the the local RA werenā€™t up to much.

I wont go to the cinema to see it because of the Covid but Iā€™ll throw it up on the big telly the second itā€™s available for streaming. Iā€™m buzzing to see it.

Yesterday I was lured into a YouTube rabbit hole filled with background music that featured on Eurosport in the early 1990s and it led me into a nearby burrow filled with background music featured on NBA Films.

I knew a lot of the music I found without previously knowing the names of any of the tracks and I think you will too. A lot of it fits quite neatly into the general high energy house/dance music scene of the time.

The legendary Alan Hawkshaw featured a bit, but there were two British guys named Murray Munro and Steve Everitt who composed a lot of it. Neither even have Wikipedia pages.

Watched killers of the flower moon yest - solid 8/10. Robbie Robertson did some job on the soundtrack before he passed away
