LeBron wasn’t even consulted. Wouldn’t have wanted that fatso in his team

Le Doncic

I have to laugh the Mavs cited conditioning issues for the trade, and they get Anthony Davis in return. Absolutely fleeced. Every other team in the league would give Doncic the supermax. He nearly averaged a 33 point triple double for the season last year and led them to the finals. All before his prime.

They’ll surely burn Dallas to the ground today. I don’t follow it much but it seems an outrageous thing to do

This is a post LeBron move, they’ll get defense around Doncic when they can.

The Mavs throwing in the towel against Cleveland tonight - 50 points down in the fourth.

Kyrie didn’t play tonight

Jimmy Buckets to GSW. Durant stays in Phoenix

As odd a trade season as there’s been in a while. Did you see the Heat players being told about it?

The NBA worried about rankings and force through a few big trades to get a bit of engagement from it’s dwindling fanbase, or so the theory goes

You’d think they’d throw the poor aul knickerbockers a bone.

Typical, they once again fear the Celtics domination.

Knicks won’t win anything but won’t disgrace themselves; I can live with that

The Mavs coming back to life in the Garden, Klay Thompson on a heater

The Mavs fall over the line a bit in the end, winning by 7, having been 20ish up for a lot of it. Thompson cooled down second half, just 2 points after 23 in the first.

Olympic silver medalists. Not sure what we’re doing in their stratosphere but that’s a scutching. Poor Claire.

Would the French be playing professionally in Euro leagues or something like that?

It is like a 10-0 beating in football

Well Claire Melia is from the Irish team, so I would presume so.

Chill out Jimmy

BREAKING: Jimmy Butler drops a heartfelt letter to Erik Spoelstra and the entire Miami Heat as the NBA world reels from yet another blockbuster trade shocker.

Dear Spo,

I came to Miami five years ago, believing I was the missing piece. I gave everything—blood, sweat, and buckets. I carried this team when no one else would. We shocked the world in 2020. We fought through fire again in 2023. But after all that, was I ever more than just another name on the roster?

I battled injuries, trade rumors, and whispers that I was never truly Heat Culture. I stayed. I sacrificed. But when it mattered most, I was just another player in your system, not the guy. Was I ever really your star? Or just another piece you could replace?

To the fans, I bled for you. To the organization, thanks for the memories. But as I walk away, I have to wonder—was this ever really my team? Or was I just a guest in someone else’s story?

Miami was special. But maybe it was never meant to be mine.

No regrets. Maybe.
