The Newsnight Thread

The BBC isn’t called the Brexit Bias Corporation for nothing

The news yesterday was a party political broadcast on behalf of the extreme right of the tory/ukip party. Cunts.

Having the cops lined up behind the PM wasn’t a good look though.

The fact that it was deliberately presented as such is a concern. Appealing to the lowest common denominator.

The lean towards right wing imagery suggests to me that the good old British centrists will win out in the end

Nigel Dodds up in a minute. The NI backstop supposedly on the table.

Who’s this fat bird? Shinner?

Yawn .

Are you tired? Maybe Newsnight isn’t for you

Not watching kiddo . Life is too short .

Its been said its not short enough. You’d wonder sometimes

Jezza has really risen to the occasion, great speech today again, bringing people together - some contrast to Johnsons endless bumbling and general all round clutziness, polarizing the public and his own party

Watson gonna call for a 2nd referendum tomorrow

Before any election. Whereas Jez and co want to have a referendum after a General Election with two options; a) a deal and b) remain. And some of the top brass say they would campaign for “remain” rather than “the deal” that they think they can negotiate with the EU. Though i expect the exit deal negotiated would be pretty similar to the Remain option.

A labour negotiated deal would be teresa mays, but closer to brino.
I wonder if it wouldn’t be the best option for all concerned tbh.

Throwing the DUP under the bus would be the best option for all right now.
