good stuff
those âsuperâ clubs are killing hurling in Dublin
Twitter is by far the best place for updates Dunph and i find it hard to get quick updates without it tbh. Most Co Boards will regularly update scores and most clubs also have accounts which are updated. A good deal of sports journalist will also update scores on twitter too.
A source of info esp for GAA club matches. Pity more clubs donât use it.
Saturday:
Ballyhale vs Comer
Muckalee vs Boro
Sunday:
Loughlins vs Carrickshock
James Stephens vs GBC
Winners of these games in your opinion ?

Shamrocks, Martins, James Stephens andâŚCarrickshock?
Carrickshock beat an understrength Ballyhale in the League final over the weekend alright but Loughlin Gaels will be a different prospect i think.
I agree with your other picks Hannibal but the above is a dodgy one to pick. Plus with the weather the way it is you can a couple of a draws thrown into the mix too possibly.
After watching the Lk & Tipp Co finals who do you fancy for that game lad? If Kilmallock invite Sars to their own pitch it is going to be one worth traveling to i think. They will hardly play it in the GCâs will they?

Canât see Kilmallock giving up the option of playing on their own pitch. Thurles looked good on Sunday and
on that showing you would have to fancy them but Kilmallock will want to make up for two years ago. Could be tight enough but Iâd go for Thurles to win.
a long time coming for the crokes, sidney. they had made a poor enough fist of winning the senior hurling prior to this year given the underage success they have had and the size of the club. Its still a young team they have so they could kick on to win a few now
There was an unmerciful barney between the hurling and football wings of the club a few years back. They seem to have patched that up. The club is plenty big enough to cater for both codes so i dont know what all the bust up was about.
Be very interesting to see if Ballyboden come back strong next year and how Kilmacud would fare up against them. Boden made no shape at all this year.
Iâll take loughlins. Agree with the other 3.
Expect the referee to cripple the OâLoughlins and Carrickshock game. Heâll be well warned to keep a tight grip on things.
MBB how has hyland being going throughout the championshipâŚwas he really that bad in this gameâŚsurely if it was just an off day he hits form Clough would be favouritesâŚbookies have them priced up at 6/5 âŚhavent seen rathdowney erril play but i have seen clough balacolla and they are a fine team on their dayâŚcould ya give me any reason why i shouldnt pile onâŚ
I believe Willie broke a bone or two in his hand back about 6 weeks ago. Presume it isnât helping him. I also believe C/B sacked their manager after the quarter finals
I believe I can fly.
Whatâs the deal with the Munster hurling lads? Kilmallock/Thurles this weekend with the winners playing Sars the weekend afterâŚ?
Pretty sure that it is down for the 28th of October with both semi finals on the 11th of November and the final two weeks later

Yeah Sunday week.
I believe in the holy catholic and apostolic church
The Clough Ballacolla manager walked, he wasnât sacked, but heâs a volatile person at the best of times and there seemed to be some degree of an incident between one of the Clough Ballacolla main players and the managers brother after a drawn game with his own club side, Castletown Slieve Bloom and this lead to a bit of a blow up. If the rumours are to be believed, it was an incident which suited both parties in the end.
John McEvoy is currently in charge there now, a Clough Ballacolla man, heâs been involved with Dublin underage hurling set ups over the past number of years I believe and is rumoured to be in the running for the Laois job which would be a good move in my opinion as getting Clough Ballacolla on side will go a long way to sorting a lot of Laois hurling problems. Not that they werenât on side last year, they contributed a huge number to all Laois sides, but given the age profile of their talented players it would be a good move all round.
Anyway, getting back to the original question, chewy is right, Hyland has a hand injury going back a few weeks now and hasnât been at his usual best, even going off the frees in the final, but in Picky Maher they have an able deputy and he stood up big time last week. I think thatâs what will turn the replay in Clough Ballacollaâs favour on Saturday, the fact that their big names such as Hyland, Coonan and Mick McEvoy most likely wonât be as quiet again. Couple that with Ross King putting in a stellar performance the last day out that youâd question if he could reach again, and I would give the nod to Clough Ballacolla. But Rathdowney/Errill donât fear them one bit and thereâs a serious bit of rivalry built up between these two.
So, Clough Ballacolla to win the replay despite not firing all season, but I add that I am not a betting man as shown many times on here, just an opinion.
Is John Kavanagh back from Oz MBB?
Which John Kavanagh is this?
