Crossmaglen look to have sealed this with a second goal to lead by 5 with 5 left.
Kilcoo beat St. Gallâs 1-9 to 0-10 and now face Crossmaglen in the Ulster final.
Who reffed the Galway Senior hurling final today?
How did he still award the penalty to Loughrea today at the end when there full forward stuck 2 players after it was awarded?
Rathdowney/Errill defeated by Kilcormac Killoughey today. The Offaly outfit lead by a point at the break, only for Rath Errill to pull out a 4 point lead midway through the second half, at which point Liam Tynan somehow managed to point when a goal seemed the easier option. Kilcormac Kiloughey reined them back in, and it was all level going into the last 3 or 4 minutes, when Geraghty reacted quickest to a rebound to break the game open. Tough to take for the Rathdowney/Erill lads.
Heard that was an awful double stroke in the Galway final, looking forward to getting a look at it.
Wait till you see it MBB, a joke of a decision as he pulled the 2 strokes right in front of the referee. To add insult to injury he buried the penalty. I am delighted St Thomas won for that alone.
Twud be some video to have if Sky Sports were there with 6+ cameras. The off the ball stuff was serious.
There was another incident in the same game in the second half. A St Thomasâ lad had the ball, a few Loughrea lads surrounded him and one fella pulled wildly across the lad in possession.
St Thomas fella falls to the ground, the same Loughrea player pulled across him again and then for good measure draws a boot on him.
Loughrea were the crowd who literally did a hatchet job on Canning in the county final a few years ago. The infamous picture of Canning on the ground with a Loughrea player stood over him with a boot on his head.
Aye, Loughrea wouldnât have the greatest rep in the game, KP will probably tell us more in due course.

He drew a kick on a lad running out past him after burying the penalty as well.
Was some desperate off the ball crap in first half, I didnt see the second, thomasâs had the better players but loughrea looked the better team. Thomasâs could go all the way now, the are classy
The championship could do with Oulart knocking out Ballyhale.
At the moment the teams left are Thurles Sars, DLS, Ballyhale, Oulart, K/K of Offaly, St Thomas and Loughiel I think.
If Oulart beat Ballyhale they have a right chance of winning it out so 10/1 is interesting but a big ask all the same.
St Thomas at 11/2 is reasonable considering Galway teams record in the Club series.
some awful wild strokes being pulled in Galway county final todayâŚeven watching on the tv you could see the off the ball stuff in the backgroundâŚboth goalscorers shouldn´t have been on the pitch in fairnessâŚMurray should have got a red in first half for his stamp on the fullback´s faceâŚthe fullback got a bit of karma today for sins of yester yearâŚloughrea full forward fairly lowered the blade on occasion tooâŚref and umpires let everything go⌠
st. thomas are a fine teamâŚit was very hard day to hurlâŚthey´ll go close to winning AI if they don´t go mad on the hooch with their first county titleâŚ
Just saw the last 20 minutes of the Galway game. Full forward should get a few months for the strokes he pulled. Cowardly fucker. Hitting a lad in the balls. Striking another lad and drawing a kick at the third right in front of the ref. Iâd heard Galway hurling is fairly rough but today was a joke. The other incident where the St thomas forward was kicked on the ground after being struck at least twice was laughable aswell.
St Thomas looked good.
Shame to see such big games played at this time of year in those conditions
You obviously didnât watch the full game. Some of the team work from Thomases was as good as anything I have seen this year.
Once Murray( Loughrea goalie) made a shambles for Thomases second goal, they lost all focus and heads dropped. They then resorted to their default style of âhardâ hurling.
There was a perception that this Thomases team were soft but Loughrea found out the contrary yesterday. They are well worth an investment to go all the way and win out the AI Club Championship.
Maher should have walked alright, Richie Murray too (though I didnât see it live but saw highlights)âŚ
The pitch held up well despite the unnatural amounts of rain its made in past few weeks.
Ballyhale Oulart is off. Waterlogged pitch.
Where was that fixed again?
Wexford Park I believe.
Supposed to be on next Saturday now.
21/10 is a serious bit of value for DLS today.
Farcical scenes as the anthem stalls!
