Massive shock in Waterford. Mount Sion rolled back the years to turn over massive favourites Ballygunner. 0-16 to 2-8. Massive second half performance against gale from the Monastery men with the introduction of 1998 hero Anthony Kirwan being the catalyst. Some great full blooded dust ups along the way.
How long is it since Mount Sion won it Fagan?
Good call. They won by 11 I think?
Kildangan beat Toomevara 2-19 to 0-15. Playing Thurles Sars in the quarter-final.
Big win for Drom/Inch over Carrick Swans too and Borrisoleigh lost to Eire Og/Annacarty
The West divisional side must have a good shout of qualifying for the senior championship next year. If you add Condon and a few more to them they canât be far off
- They wonât win it this year either but it was great to see them put one over on those cunts.

At the end of the day thatâs all that matters.
Too right.
Clough Ballacoola and Rathdowney Errill will again contest the Laois SHC Final. Clough Ballacolla have had a bit of a rollercoaster year, replays, coaches walking out, slaps between the coach and players, yet they find themselves in the final again after beating Borris Kilcotton today in their semi final. Borris Kilcottonâs amalgamation seems to be starting to gel, 4 Minor titles in a row will give them some talent no doubt to use, its just a case of pulling in the same direction which they seem to be doing.
Rathdowney Errill disposed of a pretty disappointing Harps outfit in the second semi final.
Knockainey beat Granagh Ballingarry 3-11 to 2-11. Won the game in the first half when Knockainey led by 8 at half time.
I presume your a Kilamllock man??
I believe last Sundayâs game was one of the best clubs games in recent times in Limerick. Some shooting in fairness.
Surely Kilmallock will see of Adare now?
That will be a serious final MBB, neighbourly love and all that.
How did Willie Hyland go Sunday?
Yeah Kilmallock. We would need to be fierce wary of Adare. Havenât beaten them very often in knock out, if at all. There are lot of experienced players on the side. Kilmallock will be favs and if they reproduce Sundayâs form they should win. But it is all on the day.

Willie had one of his better games this year but still seems a little out of sorts. Its been an odd year for them and Rathdowney Errill will really fancy their chances but if nothing else Clough Ballacolla are battle hardened after their trysts with Castletown Slieve Bloom and Borris Kilcotton.
Poor fucker

Derry forward Paddy Bradley has suffered a second cruciate knee ligament injury in a little over 18 months.

Bradley battled his way back from rupturing the cruciate ligament in his right knee last season to play for the Oak Leaf County in this yearâs championship.

However, the Glenullin star has been dealt a cruel blow, with a scan confirming that he sustained the exact same injury to his other knee in a club training session last week.

Meanwhile, the Meath county board will hold interviews this week as the search for a replacement for former manager SĂŠamus McEnaney continues.

Amongst those due to be interviewed are Colm OâRourke, Paddy Carr and Graham Geraghty.

It is expected that the county board will have a name for ratification at the next meeting of the county committee, which takes place on October 8.

Did they have many imports ?
No.
Clonlara will win the Clare and Munster club this year, and probably the AI depending on the Galway winners
De La Salle will walk Munster.
