Mrs Batt had the wireless on today when I got in and Liam ahern was on from Engerlund where muuunster were obviously in action playing rogbee in the beer cup. He announced that he would be providing updates from the u21 match when it was over by about an hour. Shows just where the allegiances lie when rogbee is being played.
To be fair Batt, Liam Ahern is a decent skin and is a GAA man first and foremost.
Iâd hazard a guess that heâd much prefer to have been at the u21 final replay today than over commentating on a load of Tipp, Cork and Dublin lads (with a token Limerick representation thrown in) against some English pub team. Len Dineen is the real cunt and driving force on that station, Ahern presumably has to tow the party line and engage in the sickening rugby love-in for his job prospects.

Heard today that West Limerick radio were forced to axe the GAA show. Anyone have any news on this? Been working every weekend since the start of the new year so I havenât had a chance to listen in.
Heard it wasnât getting enough listeners, no advertising revenue, made no sense to keep it on.

I have no idea whether or not they had any listeners at all. In any case they cannot collect listenership data which, I am told, is available only to commercial stations. This means Thugby FM get to boast every so often about their excessive rogbee coverage.
