Its no surprise Pearse Murphy has moved on to match this move.

#2067

#2068

Prem U-21 match between Douglas & Charleville abandoned after fight on sideline. Mentors players & supporters.

#2069

That fucker @ChocolateMice at it again.

#2070

Mallow being well beaten by the Kerry crowd.

#2071

I’ve heard rumours a cork senior club is in discussions to merge with its junior neighbours. Is this possible?

#2072

Give us the names ffs.

Whats all the fucking secrecy

#2073

I’m going to guess Newtown and Dromina

#2074

Down the north of the county.

#2075

Could be right,is this possible?

#2076

Of course, why not?

#2077

Same parish anyway so make the logistics much easier Id say. Dromina were conpetitive at intermediate recently enough but down junior now and probably tight on numbers

#2078

Two cork minor panelists last year would suggest things aren’t so bad in Dromina?

#2079

They won the avondhu jahc but were well beat in county section. Id just say they struggle with numbers more than anything else.

Are they still joined with Newtown underage?

#2080

One of them did their cruciate for the third or fourth time recently, poor bastard.

#2081

Yes.

#2082

Are those cork minors actually dromina lads so or from the merged underage club?

Some going if a village and club that small can produce two minors in one crop

#2083

Both are Dromina.

#2084

Alot of other clubs would be vetter off doing the same.

There is 3 clubs totally struggling down around Enniskeane (Marys, O’Mathunas and Oliver Plunketts) whereas they set up a Camogie and Ladies Foitball team, called it Enniskeane and are flying taking people from all 3 areas.

They’d be senior in 10 years in both if they did it
