seriously Kev? That be a fair dramatic development
It would also be bullshit.
Ya, would be explosive.
Howevet their treatment from CB has been absolutely disgraceful. The hurlers are allowed splash the cash, footballers have their hands tied behind their back the entire time.
As a football person with a real grá for Cork Football people it was actually a bit upsetting to watch them last week crushed into 20 square foot of a gym trying to do their thing. Compared to other counties they are nowhere near the same playing field. Pitches for training an issue and all this crap.
Its nonsense mate. Would be great if they did so while shiting all over the CCB though.

Congrats to Cian Kiely - no surprise Cian only that more of our fine footballers are missing ! #upthevillage @OfficialCorkGAA
A fella I know who coached these lads told me that there is a poisonous blame culture in Cork football. The County Board and managers can only do so much. Until Cork football people are willing to embrace change and stop blaming everyone else things will say the same. I can’t tell you who this fella is because that would be a betrayal of trust, but he knows all this, so he does.
Disagree completely. Shit rolls down hill.
What have Kerry, Dublin, Tipp and Killkenny got in common?
Its actually not a bad team. Very good forward line, 2 really strong attacking half backs and a good full back. We could be destroyed at midfield though and Cork have really struggled there at Minor past 2-3 years where as Kerry are very strong there.
Saw a couple of the Cork footballers tucking into Supermacs at junction 14 on their way home after the match on Sunday
They are all counties in Ireland?
Fuck me you have low level humour
Except when Ger Cunningham is in charge when inexplicably the shit rolls uphilll?
He is making a fair fist of the dubs competitiveness after all the primmadonna weak cunts ran off in all fairness.
And whi employed him?
Its all about leadership. At all levels of Cork GAA leadership is found wanting.
Its not that you are not right to a certain degree. But its the leaders who set the parameters for performance. And if you do not know whats needed for success then you cannot lead others.
Bit like when Cusack, Gardiner and O’hAilpin all “ran off” too?
The only mistake they made was not sticking it out when they had the CB by the balls
We are having our worst league campaign in 7 years and we will be relegated on Sunday. Another couple of high profile player departures are imminent. How on the Holy Mother of Jaysis is that making a fair fist of it?
Who’s walking now?
@caoimhaoin To me untrained eye down in Walsh Park the other week, I thought the Cork team were a lot bulkier than they were last year. Fellas with bigger arses and thighs than heretofore. Is that just my imagination or are Cork playing a stronger type of Hurler and bulking up generally.
Well i would question the methods and injuries bear that out somewhat.
That said they are doing it and i am glad they are doing it and many ways to skin a cat and all that.
They took the u25 squad away and trained them differently from last august (i think) in S&C. So thats why Meade, Kingston and Cahalane etc are in good nick. They are also very very good hurlers. And there are more playing football tonight.
Long term its going to pay off.
Hurlers are in Cork.so are the footballers. They were being trained like intermediate clubs. It does matter. Players knew it, they get demoralized and that gets worse and worse.
It was estimated to me that around 20k was spent on S&C and everything else on these u25’s. The footballers had to build their own gym and they are cramped into a public warehouse gym now. That’ll tell ya.
KK may lack some steel, but he is a planner and will engage people and delegate and he is not interested in dictating.
It is encouraging, but i still worry about some fundamentals of the game. Summer is a different ball game.
