Aye, they’re culturally very similar. Ultra reserved. Alcohol unleashes the frustration of having to behave unnaturally the rest of the time. Weird culture. Suffocating almost. I got asked a few times at work by superiors if I was intoxicated as they were completely unable to fathom somebody being so boisterous without booze.
