Also, you doing any triathlons this year? Cycling reconvened last week for me. Cycled to clontarf, had a scone and coffee, got a puncture, got a cab to the bike shop, got a stern dressing down from the bike guys, got the bike fixed cycled home.
Always up for a spin round howth and a few stones at @Funtime’s gaff on the way home. Apparently he’s a lot quicker chasing lads now though…

A woman from cycling club here died during triathlon in France over weekend. Got into difficulty on swim (I was initially told heart attack). Lovely person, she was first to invite me out on trail runs with them. Hadn’t seen her in ages until a few weeks ago when I was heading on a trail run and she was going out doing a brick session. Would be more of an acquaintance than anything but a lovely person to stop and have a chat with. A warm human being. Had a great chat with her and was wishing her well in her upcoming triathlon. Shocking stuff.
